Animal Nicknames

Does everyone else have 10 billion nicknames for their animals, or is it just us?  You would think that it would be confusing for them, but really, it doesn't seem to phase them at all.  The only one that seems to get annoyed about it is Charlotte, but that could just be because she seems annoyed about oh-so-many things.  So here are the nicknames that have grown over time, and yes, I do know that some of them are ridiculous.  Note:  most of these are NOT my fault.  They are my husband's!

Charlotte:

Gummy (due to the fact that she looks like a gumdrop when sitting.)

Annie:

Bit-butt (do you see a trend here?)

Romeo:

Big Love




So as you can see, Argos and Romeo are getting "slighted" in the nickname department.  I don't imagine that will last for long... remember that we had "the girls" for over a year before we got these two.

    Oh gosh- What a great topic! We all have these weird names for our pets I think. I think "noodle" is my favorite name of the bunch. :)

    My husbands biggest nick name for all of the dogs, is adding an -er to end of their name and adding a word to ryhyme.

    Chance becomes, Chancer-Dancer
    Blaze becomes, Blazer-Lazer
    Brut is, Bruter boy
    Zappa is Zappa Dappa doo
    Fiona is, Fiona Bologna, (lol, what can ryhme with Fiona??)

    and.

    Silver is, Silver-Dollar dog

    Love the "noodle" one!

    HA! All my furkids have nicknames:

    Sammy is also Whammy, Sambo, Whammykins. . .

    Harry is Hairball, Bad Boy.

    Sophie is Princess Kittencup, Bean, Sopha-bean, Fatso (Hubby calls her that)

    Good to know that we're not the only lunatics out there. :) Sounds like we're in very good company with the plethora of nicknames, not all of them altogether complimentary.

    Enjoying getting to know your furry family. We can't wait to have dogs of our own. Almost like people you see with baby fever. But much more fun! Always nice to see lots of pictures and video :) Very our style. Glad to be following you from the blog hop!
